La magia del Photoshop - Faith Hill en Redbook Mag
La famosa cantante de Country Faith Hill posó para la portada de Redbook magazine. La primera vez que vi la portada, se me pareció a Jessica Simpson. Faith luce realmente hermosa, casi perfecta. Tan perfecta que ni lineas de expresión tiene, y tan delgada. Simplemente perfecta. Faith Hill does Redbook magazine. But the cover is so photoshopped that Faith almost looks like Jessica Simpson. The fisrt time I saw it I thought It was Jess. Well, when I realized my mistake, I said OMG! It's Faith Hill, she looks gorgeous and younger.
Mmmm… extrañamente perfecta, no? Resulta que Jezebel encontró la foto original, y adivinen? Es el Premio mayor del Arte del Retoque (Airbrushing). No es que le retocaron un poquitín el maquillaje, o le cambiaron el color del fondo o del vestido. Editaron tanto la foto de Faith, que casi se ve como una quinceañera. Le quitaron como 20 años de encima, de hecho su cara y cuerpo quedaron diferentes. Miren la foto original y comparen. Well, Jezebel found the original photo, and Guess what? It's the Biggest Airbrushing ever! (ok, I'm overreacting but I's so close to be) The editors edited all the face and body. They edited, her eyes, lips, hair, right arm, and put a left arm in the picture (maybe Faith sells more magazines with two arms), her back (they say Faith is a Fatback), and they makes her to loose a lot of weight, because on cover, Faith looks skinny!
Le editaron los ojos, los labios, la espalda, el brazo derecho, le colocaron otro brazo (quizá con dos vendan más revistas), le borraron las pecas y las líneas de expresión (quien no tiene lineas cuando se rie?) y le quitaron como diez kilos de encima. Creo que esto no era necesario, Faith Hill es una mujer hermosa con una sonrisa encantadora. Editarla de esa manera fue demasiado, se imaginan cómo se debe sentir ella? Verse toda editada. Si querían a alguien tan joven hubiesen colocado a Carrie Underwood en la portada. Anyway, las revistas siempre retocan a las celebridades que salen en sus portadas, pero esto se lleva el premio mayor. Después se preguntan por qué la gente está obsesionada con la eterna juventud y la belleza física. Porque las revistas se empeñan en hacer lucir perfectas a las celebridades, cuando en realidad no lo son. I think It was unnecessary, Fait Hill is a beautiful woman with a really lovely smile. She's not perfect, we know that, but this airbrushing is ridiculous. The magazine always retouch the cover shots. Because nobody is too perfect for them. Then, Why is people obsessed with eternal youth and beauty? Because magazines are showing perfect celebrities, without freckles or wrinkles, and of couse, without extra weight.
Esta debería ser la Portada de Redbook con la foto original de Faith Hill: See the Cover without photoshop that should be on the newsstands, I think It's beautiful and REAL!

Y obviamente se ve mejor la foto editada, pero yo creo que se ve más natural la foto sin retoques.. es que a veces parecen de plástico con tanto photoshop!
