Nominaciones Grammy 2020: Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X

Ya se conocen las nominaciones a los Grammy 2020, Lizzo tiene 8 nominaciones, incluyendo Disco del año, Canción del año, Récord del año y Mejor Nueva Artista. Billie Eilish y Lil Nas X, seis cada uno.

Otras menciones notables incluyen a Ariana Grande con cinco nominaciones. Rosalía está nominada a Mejor Artista Nueva

Mientras tanto, el disco de Taylor Swift, ‘Lover’ y la banda sonora de ‘A Star is Born’ de Lady Gaga, quedaron fuera de las categorías de Mejor Disco o Mejor Récord del Año, y solo obtuvieron 3 nominaciones, algo decepcionante para esos discos que fueron fuertemente promocionados y se esperaba que tuviesen más nominaciones, según señala The Hollywood Reporter.

Lizzo obtuvo nominación en como Mejor Disco y Mejor Record, además de Mejor Presentación Pop Individual por “Truth Hurts”, su disco “Cuz I Love You (Deluxe) está nominado a Mejor Disco y Mejor Álbum Contemporáneo. Lizzo también compite por Mejor Presentación R&B  por “Exactly How I Feel” feat Gucci Mane y Mejor Presentación R&B Tradicional por “Jerome”.

Billie Eilish y Lil Nas X competirán con Lizzo por Mejor Nuevo Artista, además de Disco del Año (con When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and 7, respectivamente), y Record del Año.
